Bergplaas

The river below Ebenezer Dam that flows through Bergplaas is the head of the Letaba River. The fishing can be very good. The Yellowfish were stocked many years ago through the efforts of amongst others, Zamps Zamparini and Paolo Cigana.

These yellows readily take a fly. Brown and Rainbow Trout are stocked periodically and have established themselves well. Please handle the fish with utmost care; barbless hooks, soft nets, catch and release, no fish to be removed from the river. Maximum of three (3) rods allowed at a time, one of which must be a member.
